The Plan for Stafford Borough Part 2 was submitted for Independent Examination on 27 April 2016. The Examination hearing sessions were held between 19 July and 2 August 2016, with site visits taking place on 3 and 4 August 2016. The Inspector then published his Note MF3:PSB2- Next Steps in the Examination Process (pdf 73kb) which stated the main modifications for the Plan.

On 28 December 2016 the Council received the Inspector's Report into Part 2 of the Plan for Stafford Borough together with the Schedule of Main Modifications, listed below.  Furthermore a Schedule of Additional (minor) Modifications have also been agreed through the Examination process. Part 2 of the Plan for Stafford Borough was adopted by the Council at its meeting on the 31 January 2017 following consideration of the Inspector’s Report:

Background

In light of the Note MF3,  the Council produced a Schedule of Main Modifications, which have been subject to Sustainability Appraisal, as set out in the addendum report (please see links below).

The consultation on the Main Modifications ended on 4 November 2016. The Schedule of Additional Modifications and the Sustainability Appraisal Addendum are provided for information only:
