We are currently preparing our evidence base for the new Local Plan 2025 to 2045, following the Cabinet decision on 6 March 2025 to start a new plan-making process in the context of the National Planning Policy Framework published on 12 December 2024.

Please refer to the Local Development Scheme which sets out the Council's work programme and timetable for the preparation of new planning policy documents, together with a description of their contents.
