What we do

Media Relations - we work with local, regional and national media organisations across a range of outlets - from providing simple confirmation of a council decision, to organising television or radio interviews. We answer more than 150 press enquiries a year.

External Communications - Around 100 press releases are issued every year and published on the web. We help prepare community campaigns, such as dog fouling and grimewatch and assist in the production of a range of publications. We are responsible for developing and maintaining this website.

Social Media - we manage the council's social media platforms.

Internal Communications - We deliver key messages to staff. Development and maintenance of our internal web pages are also a function of the team.

Filming and Photography - We can't give permission to film unless it is on council owned property. But we can advise on filming and photography in the borough. Contact Will on the details below.
