Latest news

Resurfacing works to the 3G pitch are due to start this month, with works expected to be completed by September.

During these works, a section of the athletics track will be temporarily unavailable. However, the track will remain open and accessible throughout the project. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Updates will be provided as the project progresses, and users will be notified once full access to the track has been restored.

The first phase of improvements to pathways is planned for Autumn 2026, helping to improve accessibility and connectivity throughout the park.

Designs for the new play area will also be published soon, with construction expected to begin in Autumn 2026 as part of the wider investment in Rowley Park’s redevelopment.
