Latest updates
April 2026
Thank you for your patience as we progress with the new vision for Rowley Park Sports Stadium. The Averill Road entrance works are now complete and the road has reopened. Works on the first phase of the boundary pathway are planned for Autumn 2026.
Phase 2 of the Rowley Park consultation has now closed. We’re grateful to all residents, park users, community groups and partner organisations who shared their views.
The findings from this stage have been captured in the Phase 2 Consultation Report (pdf 756kb), which outlines the themes, feedback and insights gathered. This report, along with the Phase 1 findings has helped to inform the final masterplan.
From your initial feedback, play areas came out as the top priority for the park, closely followed by sports facilities. Using these priorities, your ideas, and expert site analysis, our design team has developed some exciting concept proposals.
