Missed Appointments and Refund Policy

This is a chargeable service. We aim to resolve your issue with one treatment, however additional chargeable visits may be required.

Missed Appointments

  • If you miss an agreed appointment and fail to pre-warn us (01785 61900), a calling card will be left at your property and you will be charged for the visit regardless of whether or not a treatment has commenced.
  • If this is part of a multiple-visit schedule, it will count as 1 of your visits.
  • If 2 visits are missed, your treatment will be cancelled but you will be charged for the missed visits and subsequent replacement visits will now be charged for.

Refunds

Cancellations with a full refund can only be made before the Pest Control Officer visits your premises by calling 01785 619000. However, if an identification has taken place, that portion of the fee will not be refunded.

No refund will be given:

  • If a Pest Control Officer calls at your property to provide a pre-arranged booking.
  • If the treatment and/or baiting has commenced.
  • You fail to undertake works (proofing) or follow the Pest Control Officer’s recommendations, and as a result the treatment is unsuccessful (re-infestation) or we need to stop treatment.

If the council is unable to fulfil an appointment due to reasons beyond our control and a suitable alternative appointment can't be arranged, a full refund will be offered.
