Waterfront Multi-storey car park providing variable stay parking can be found on Waterfront Way Stafford ST16 2HQ adjacent to the A518, A34 and A449 island.

Riverside Undercroft short stay shopper’s car park can be found directly under the new shops at Riverside off South Walls adjacent to the Civic Centre ST16 3AQ

Both car parks are operated by the latest chip coin pay on foot technology it
means you only pay for the time you have been parked.

Charges will apply at all times and to all classes of vehicles including blue
badge holders.

Surface Car Parks

Surface car parks in Stafford are currently Pay and Display cashless pay by phone parking or both. The vast majority are open all hours and charges apply Monday to Sunday including Bank Holidays (except Christmas Day).

Doxey Road Long Stay - What to do if the car park is closed due to flooding

In the event of Doxey Road Long stay car park being closed due to flooding (No 13A on the map) paying customers can park in the Doxey Road short stay car park (No 11A on the map). During this time permit holders can park on the adjacent short stay free of charge, as can paying customers using our PaybyPhone service, location code 59637.

This is an emergency measure during poor weather conditions and will be reviewed on a daily basis and is subject to change. If you are planning to leave your car for a prolonged period please check the weather conditions before hand as flooding can escalate quickly in this area.
