“Many of those taking part will be running to raise money for various charities and I hope people will turn out on the day to cheer them along - as well as soak up the tremendous atmosphere the event brings to the area.
“I am sure the support from friends and family will help the runners make it to the finish line.”
The race village is situated in Victoria Park with plenty of stalls, including food and drink, for runners and spectators.
Freedom Leisure’s event organiser, Laura Morris, said: “The amazing Stafford community will be out in force again to cheer all the runners on the 10km route. We know what this race means to runners that train for months. We’re looking forward to another memorable day in our beautiful county town.”
