VARIATION TO THE BOROUGH OF STAFFORD (VARIOUS CAR PARKS, STONE) STONE OFF-STREET PARKING ORDER 2020 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Stafford Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under The Road Traffic Regulation Act, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and The Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers has varied the Borough of Stafford (Various Car Parks, Stone) Stone Off-Street Parking Order 2020. The variation Order is to be known as the Borough of Stafford (Various Car Parks, Stone) Stone Off-Street Parking Order 2020 (Variation 2024.

The purpose of the Variation is to clarify the area relating to the Stone Leisure Centre Car Park and access road described in the Schedule to the 2020 Order and the parking restrictions.

Copies of the Borough of Stafford (Various Car Parks, Stone) Stone Off-Street Parking Order 2020 (Variation 2024) and accompanying plan showing the affected area may be inspected free of charge on Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, and between 8.30am and 4.30pm on Friday, at the Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, ST16 3AQ, until the 30 June 2024.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Variation to the Parking Order, or of any provision contained within it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or the Traffic Management Act 2004, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Acts or of any instrument made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Parking Orders, may, within six weeks from the 6 June 2024, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
