Community Safety in Stafford Borough

The crime and disorder act 1998 requires local authorities and the police, with other key agencies and the community, to work together at a borough level to develop and implement strategies for reducing crime and disorder in the area.

Stafford Borough Community Wellbeing Partnership work together to ensure that the Borough continues to be a safe place to live, work and socialise. The partnership focus on a prevention and early intervention approach to tackling issues in the Borough.

Staffordshire Commissioner

The Stafford Borough Wellbeing Partnership is funded through the Staffordshire Commissioner, through the Locality Deal Funding. The Commissioner provides this funding to support projects that will deliver against the priorities.
