The process to apply for housing has changed.

Homes Plus have closed their waiting list. They are the largest provider of social housing in Stafford Borough with over 8000 properties. They will still be offering social housing to eligible residents in housing need.

Applicants who are a current Homes Plus tenant can contact them directly if there is a housing need. Applicants who are not Homes Plus tenants can no longer register and bid for social housing each week. Instead, applicants will apply for social housing through Stafford Borough Council and be nominated for a suitable property, which will include social housing from all social housing providers in the Borough.

This will ensure that those with the highest housing need will be allocated the most suitable properties, making best use of limited social housing in the Borough.
