New for Stafford Festival in 2017, Stafford Castle's Summer Sunday promises to give all the family a fun and relaxed afternoon in the grounds of Stafford's most famous landmark.

Come and enjoy your Sunday lunch with family and friends on the castle hill from the selection of pop-up street food stalls, including Caribbean and seafood from Leave it to Esmie, Low 'n' Slow's Texan style BBQ, Woodfired pizza from Artisan Street Food and the best of cheese from Press & Melt Grilled Cheese, there will also be a Hog Roast. You cannot bring your own alcohol to the event but there will be a licensed bar in the acoustic tent and also a bar in a converted cattle truck from the Estate Boys.

Throughout the day children and adults can enjoy craft and art workshops, face painting and balloon modelling, whilst being entertained by our street theatre acts. In keeping with the festival atmosphere, there will be a main stage which will feature live music from local bands, and DJ sets. You can also chill out, undercover, in the acoustic tent and listen to the sounds of some of the best talent from the local circuit.

Car Parking on the Castle site is £5 per car

All entry is pay on the gate on the day of the event. There are no tickets available before the day of the event.

Please note that it's strictly forbidden to bring any alcohol drinks and any glass containers including glasses, bottles and jars on to the castle site for this event. Please see conditions of entry for full event entry details.
