Boss to speak at landlord's forum

Date: 31 Oct, 2017

The boss of a national association that represents landlords is to speak at a forum in Stafford.

Richard Lambert, the Chief Executive of the National Landlords Association, will be in the county town on Wednesday (8 November) to give his insight in to what the future holds for the private rented sector.

Stafford Borough Council has organised the forum following recent changes to policies that will have an impact for private sector landlords and letting agents. It is one of several forums the council puts on each year with expert advice on a wide range of topics for property owners and managers who let out homes across the borough.

Councillor Jeremy Pert, Cabinet Member for Communities, said: “Having a vibrant private rented sector in Stafford Borough with the most practical first-hand knowledge can only be of benefit to those renting in our borough. So I would urge every private landlord to get this date in their diary and make it a must-attend session.”

The free event takes place at the Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford and will run from 6pm to 8pm. Anyone requiring more details about the forum, or to reserve a place, contact Hayley Smith hmsmith@staffordbc.gov.ukor 01785 619554.
