Let's Work Together - E-Learning

Let’s Work Together is delighted to announce a new e-learning module which is the culmination of lots of work from all partners involved. We are very grateful to Ged Bowles of IEWM who made the E-learning development possible through their funding and support. The launch event was very well attended with representatives from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Staffordshire Police, NHS CCG, South Staffordshire LPC and Voluntary Organisations.

E-learning Studios and Support Staffordshire (Lichfield and District) who together developed the e-learning module demonstrated how the module will enable learners to understand the concept of Let’s Work Together and provides the training and skills for home visitors to be able to identify risks and sign post and refer to organisations for help.

The module has been designed to be ‘real’, relevant and useful and the learner is able to identify risks through ‘virtual home visits’. Information about referral pathways for each district is given as well as clear guidelines that explain how to make a referral and how to use Patchwork.

A video clip then enables you to observe a visit taking place so that you can put what you have learnt into practice. A feature of the e-learning module is the amazing wealth of resources, links to websites and information that can be downloaded. Built in to the course is the opportunity to build a portfolio/toolkit to use in your work.
