Take a walk through the castle woodland and solve our Christmas riddle (answers can be entered into a free prize draw). Children's Christmas decoration workshops £2. Cookies and hot chocolate are available in the visitor centre throughout this period. See the wide range of traditional and unusual gifts in our shop. Free admission to museum and Castle site.

Meet our costumed characters and learn about Christmas in the Tudor, Stuart, Georgian and Victorian periods. Stir a traditional pudding and sing carols in the Victorian Room. Meet Father Christmas in his grotto. Childrens and adults Christmas craft workshops and family entertainment. Mince pies and hot fruit punch available in the Edwardian shop. No booking necessary. Free admission.
The Holly and the Ivy | Sunday 4 December | 11am to 4pm
Adult holly wreath making and children's Christmas decoration making workshops. Drop in sessions throughout the day. Adults £10, Children £2. Cookies and hot chocolate available.

Square; ranging from food and drink, crafts and all things festive!
We’ll be starting our merry month off with a Farmers Market on 10 December, look out for seasonal goodies and tasty treats to devour.
Lastly, Market Square hosts a Christmas Food, Drink and Craft Market on the 17 December. Pick up your final pieces of décor or set your sights on some flavourful local foods.

You can park for free in Stafford and Stone town centres on two Saturdays in the run-up to Christmas.
Parking charges have been scrapped for Stafford Borough Council car parks from 1pm on Saturday 10 December and from the same time the following week on 17 December.The free parking applies to all car parks in Stafford and Stone town centres except the Riverside and Waterfront car parks in Stafford.
